Neffertice Williams is a mother, a student, world traveler and entrepreneur. Poised to graduate UC Berkeley with a bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in the Spring of 2022, focused in African American Studies, Sociology and Education, she is a native of San Francisco, CA who is passionate about community, arts and culture. As the granddaughter of the late Ruth Williams (champion and activist in Bayview Hunters Point), she remains engaged with the youth in the community aiming to educate, expose, and enhance their chances at success through celebrating African and African American culture via travel and the arts. Having traveled with youth of Bayview to West Africa, and facilitated the Youth Career Academy with non-profit organization Operation Genesis, Inc. Neffertice has first hand knowledge about the power of educating youth in ways that are culturally relevant.
