Denesha Bridges
Denesha Bridges is a fourth-generation Bayview resident and a results-driven advocate committed to empowering underserved and marginalized communities through education, resource access, and strategic collaboration. Coming from a family legacy rooted in service—her grandmother helped educate multiple generations through Early Childhood Education—Denesha continues that tradition with passion and purpose. She has completed all available African American Studies coursework at Laney College, building deep expertise in Black history, culture, and systemic challenges.
Denesha is currently pursuing her Associate in Arts (A.A.) in Sociology, with plans to earn her Bachelor’s degree in Child and Adolescent Development, minoring in African American Studies, at Sacramento State University. She looks forward to continuing her academic journey by pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Work, specializing in trauma-informed care to help educate and break cycles of generational trauma stemming from the history of slavery within Black families and communities.
In addition to her academic pursuits, Denesha actively supports inclusive education initiatives working with youth at the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD), is the founder of Concrete Roses Ministry dedicated to advocacy and housing support, and leads Queendom Royalty Inc., managing real estate, land, and stock investments to promote generational wealth in Black households. Through her lived experiences, academic excellence, and community leadership, Denesha proudly supports Dr. Carolyn Ransom-Scott’s traveling exhibit and documentary, helping to illuminate the lasting impact of Black excellence in science, technology, arts, and culture.
